When you invoice through the invoicing centre, you are a so-called light entrepreneur and therefore, according to the Pension Security Centre, you are covered by the self-employed person’s pension insurance (YEL insurance).

You must take out an entrepreneur’s pension insurance (YEL) if your estimated income from your business is at least EUR 9 010.28 per year (2024) and you live in Finland.
